About me

I am happily living alone after a recent divorce. Well, not quite alone. I own/care for/am owned by two cats, Missy and Misha. I also have a 30 gallon aquarium full of mismatched fish. And there are plants, as long as I remember to water them.

I continually redecorate my apartment, at least as much as I can and still get my deposit back. Mostly this consists of draping fabric over things and shoving furniture around, but you get the idea.

Things to know if you ever meet me:

  • It's Jenn (2 'n's please) or Jennifer. Do not call me "Jenny" unless you are an immediate member of my family. Or wish to be shrieked at.
  • I'm a September Virgo born in the year of the Rat. This makes me a perfectionist and a critic. I will sneer if provoked
  • Buy me books or small containers (known to me as "things to put other things into") and you are a friend for life
  • I often make up voices for inanimate objects. Crocuses are my favorite. Yes, it's an in-joke.
