Location: Barony of Castle Rouge, Principality of Northshield, MidRealm (Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada)
Persona Information: 8th or 9th Century Slavic, daughter of a strong minded Norse woman and Slavic Merchant.
SCA Interests: Mostly anything to do with fibers (tablet weaving, costuming, sewing, embroidery, experimenting with sprang and beading- not together), music - both vocal and on the bandura, dance, and Viking culture (there's a strong Viking influence up here, must be the climate....) I am not interested in history, but AM interested in historical culture (I was never good at memorizing all those names and dates, but recreating history from a personal point of view, now that's interesting!). I can read and understand the equivalent to "Dick and Jane" in Ukrainian - I wish I had the time to learn more... then I could read all those books in the Slavic Section of the University library!!!!
Other Information: In real life, I'm a property accountant (do accounting for shopping malls) and a student in an certified accounting programme.
